30 MIN Body Balance
This protocol involves manual stretching based on my 2+ years as an apprentice to acupuncturist / P.T. and 7+ years as a yoga instructor. This is not massage, but I use special techniques to increase flexibility, detox fascia, balance the body to promote self-healing, and improve posture & athletic performance.
Your job is to stay relaxed and allow me to do all the work. Focus on your breath and communicate how everything feels, where you feel the stretch and where your limits are.
Some stretches might be uncomfortable. On a scale between 1 (not feeling anything) to 10 (extreme pain), you want to stay at a 7. There will be slight discomfort - a deep stretch - but never pain. When you are flinching, tightening, or guarding, you are not able to receive the benefits.
It is very important that you stay relaxed, listen to cues, and trust me. This protocol is SAFE and I will make sure to educate you on everything that I am doing as I do it.
Depending on your body, you may feel sore for a few days after the stretch because the muscles, joints, tendons are opening and rebuilding. Stay hydrated and be gentle with yourself.
