Plasma Fibroblasting is a skin tightening procedure. It can be used for eyelid hooding, loose skin under eyes, saggy neck skin, and for fine lines and wrinkles. Plasma fibroblast therapy uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas of the skin. The plasma tip doesn't directly touch the skin, but instead releases a targeted current just above the skin. The hot current creates small holes, or micro-injuries, in the skin's layer. It can also be used for sun spots, skin tags, moles, and anywhere on your face, neck, or body that has loose saggy skin that needs tightened.
The skin is numbed with topical anesthetic for 30 minutes prior to treatment. There is swelling and redness for up to 3 days after the treatment. Tiny scabs form and will fall off within the first 7-10 days.
