Using Dermalogica products the basic facial consists of a precleanse of the skin to remove anything that was applied prior to the appointment to be able to analyze the skin. A second cleanse will be done with an appropriate cleanser based on skincare needs, followed by a scrub to help exfoliate the skin. All 3 cleanses are done along with steam to help open the pores. A scaling gel will be applied on areas of concern with steam for an additional 8-10 minutes to loosen up any congested pores, blackheads, and acne so when the time comes for extractions it will be less uncomfortable for you. (extractions are included) After the extractions are performed a facial mask will be chosen based on your skincare needs and the service will end with the application of moisturizer with SPF.

Dermaplaning Facial

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation using a sterile surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skins surface, removing the top most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair also known as “peach fuzz.” The treatment will consist of using Dermalogica skincare products and will begin with a pre-cleansing of the skin followed by a power cleanse (appropriate cleanser + exfoliant scrub mixed together) all done under steam to help open the pores. Once the face is completely dry the dermaplaning will begin and once finished an appropriate facial mask will be applied (usually a jelly mask is left on for 15-20 mins or a regular mask for 8 to 10 mins, it depends on what will benefit you the most) The treatment will end with the application of moisturizer with SPF.

Microdermabrasion

A non-surgical skin resurfacing procedure using a sterile diamond head to peel and rub off the dead skin cells from the top layer of skin, followed by vacuuming/suction removing particles along with any dirt and dead skin. The treatment will consist of using Dermalogica skincare products and will begin with a pre-cleansing of the skin followed by a power cleanse (appropriate cleanser + exfoliant scrub mixed together) all done under steam to help open the pores. After the skin is completely dry a double pass will be done with the diamond tip headpiece followed by an appropriate facial mask (usually a jelly mask is left on for 15-20 mins or a regular mask for 8 to 10 mins, it depends on what will benefit you the most) The treatment will end with the application of moisturizer with SPF.
