Web-based Consultations - Mixed Species

Web-based consultations are offered via skype and zoom. All web-based consults include the same as the in-person consultations: A preliminary behavior report available within 72 hours. A detailed and personalized behavior/environmental modification plan available within 5-7 business days. Wellness and behavior information guides. Unlimited email (or phone if preferred) support with each session. Video demonstrations. Pet Wellness and Care Consults

Feline (cats)- In Person Consultation

In-home behavior and wellness consultation for cats cost $75 to $125 per session.* For the first session, we ask that clients plan for 1.5 hours. Ferret - In Person Consultation

For your initial consultation, please plan on 1 hour. Follow up sessions are 30 to 45 minutes for ferrets due to their very limited attention span when it comes to training. But do not let them fool you. Just because they need to take more breaks does not mean they are not smart. Ferrets are actually highly intelligent and love clicker training! Avian (birds) - In Person Consultation

Our avian behavior and wellness consultation prices are dependent on the type of bird. Please contact us for a more exact estimate. Smaller birds (parakeets, finches, canaries, lovebirds, etc): $50 Medium birds (cockatiels, conures, lorikeets, doves, etc): $65 Large birds (african greys, macaws, cockatoos, etc): $75 Extra large pet birds and/or wildlife education birds: $80 Raptors/falcons: $90 Do you want to train your chicken(s)? We offer special rates for chicken clicker training. 1-hour sessions for chickens are $40.

Small Mammals - In Person Consultation

In-home behavior and wellness consultation for small mammals vary from $50 to $70 depending on the species. Small mammal species we have worked with include but are not limited to the following: mice, rats, hamsters, gerbils, degus, sugar gliders and chinchillas. We cover a wide range of topics from behavior to nutrition for these small pets. Just because they come in a smaller package, does not mean they are any less deserving of love and high-quality care. Kitten Kindergarten

Our kitten kindergarten program is for cats under 1 year. This is a 4-week program that meets once per week online and costs $80. Our in-person program costs $100 plus travel.  Why choose our program? Our program is science-based and developed by several animal professionals. Our program has been designed by behavior experts, veterinarians, and other animal health professionals. What is Kitten Kindergarten?  Kitten Kindergarten is a socialization, training, and education program. The program focuses on integrating your kitten into your family, teaching your kitten manners, and instructing owners on feline behavior, as well as how to recognize and prevent common behavior and health problems. Socializing kittens is essential to having a well-mannered adult cat.

Canine (dog) - In Person Consultation

We provide in-home behavior modification and training services for canines. If you are looking for group classes such as puppy classes, agility, service dog training, etc we highly recommend looking for positive reinforcement based trainers in your area. We will not use shock collars. We often work with serious behavior issues for canines. As this is where our special interest lies. Pricing varies from $100-250 depending on the issue(s) and how many dogs are in the home. Please email ludaranimal@gmail.com to see if we can help. Please keep in mind we prefer to run our Behavior Modification Plan by your veterinarian to ensure everyone is on the same path.

Equine (horses) - In Person Consultation

We offer positive reinforcement focused horse behavior modification and training. We specialize in stereotypical behaviors such as cribbing, lignophagia, pica, stall kicking, stall walking/weaving, etc.  Currently, we only offer ground level work, no riding.

Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

All of our pet sitting and dog walking services offer intro level training as well as a condensed behavior and environmental assessment.
