Reading for Early Learners

In this session students meet for 30 mins with a focus on learning to read; sight words; spelling; and writing

Summer Remediation and Enrichment (6 weeks or 6 sessions)

This service includes 6 weeks (or 6 sessions) of summer remediation and/or enrichment in one subject area. Each session is 45 minutes and meets once a week. A free consultation with Dr. Robinson is required upon booking the service.

Miss Rachael

Rachael Hovis is a freshman at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Rachael, a recent honors graduate from Destrehan High school, is super excited to be given the opportunity to give back to the community that she grew up in! For the past 5 years, she has been an active counselor at the local summer camp “Swamp School” and loves to teach and lead children of all ages. She looks forward to bonding and building with your child.

Ms. Jackson

Ms. Jackson currently teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade mathematics to gifted and high ability learners and has been serving gifted students since 2011. For the past ten years, she has served students in grades K-7, working at the school level with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to help address and meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners. She is dedicated to engaging students in meaningful learning opportunities, educating stakeholders about gifted children and their unique needs, and advocating for special programs designed to meet the needs of the gifted. Julmarria Jackson is a middle school mathematics teacher in Luling, Louisiana. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and currently serves on the state board, The Association for Gifted and Talented Students of Louisiana, as the Vice-President of Communication and Advocacy.

Ms. Kris

Ms. Kris L. Taplet is a certified, Master’s Level English Language Arts instructor with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. With nearly a decade of teaching experience, her most recent results include a 75% passing rate on the LEAP 2025 Exam, of which nearly 50% of those passing scored mastery or above. Kris teaches the whole student, using personal skills the student naturally displays, to bring out the inner academic talent she believes every learner possesses.
