Pilates Meets Yoga
This one-hour Vinyasa Yoga class is is appropriate for beginners, as well as students with some experience, looking for an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the poses.
This is a practice of linking breath and movement to flow through postures while feeling the experience of being alive, connected and free. Vinyasa meets you were you are (maybe going a million different directions) and leads you, by the hand, back to an inner peace that exists within you. It reminds us that everything is connected and interdependent.
This class is flowing, active, and challenging and will teach a different sequence each week. It will include gentle and challenging aspects and is suitable for all a wide range of body types, flexibility and fitness levels. Each session builds core strength, quiets your mind and increases body awareness. Students are encouraged to practice to their limit, be patient, and set reasonable expectations for their progress.
