Posture and Functional Squat Screen
Posture refers to the body's alignment and positioning with respect to the ever-present force of gravity. Whether we are standing, sitting or lying down gravity exerts a force on our joints, ligaments and muscles. Good posture entails distributing the force of gravity through our body so no one structure is over-stressed. Bad posture causes over-stressed structures in the body to work more or not work enough that leads to micro-trauma and eventual injury. Squatting is a functional movement that we do daily. Whether we sit on a chair, squat to pick up an object on the floor or squat to sit on the commode, bad squatting mechanics leads to injury. At DPTSI we evaluate your posture and squatting mechanics to identify biomechanical faults and educate you on how to correct said faults before injury.

Wellness Program 3 sessions/week
High-intensity interval training (HIIT), is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods, until too exhausted to continue. These intense workouts typically last under 30 minutes, with times varying based on a participant's current fitness level. Functional Interval training (FIT) is geared towards persons who want to garner a deeper understanding of how to train the body to move more efficiently. Whether it's improving core function to get an edge in athletic competition or boosting balance to improve movement without pain, functional training can help all individuals improve movement efficiency. All sessions include a warm-up and cool down period. Totaling approximately 1 hour per session. To purchase this program rate, select the (3 session/week) option, schedule 3 individual session times and dates and submit payment.

Cupping- Myofascial Decompression (MFD)
Myofascial Decompression (MFD), otherwise known as Cupping, is a form of soft tissue work where a pneumatic pump is used, along with plastic vacuum cups and placed on the skin to release the fascia and muscle tissue underneath. Myofascial Decompression can be useful in the treatment of chronic overuse injuries such as bursitis, tendonitis, tendonosis, and other myofascial pain syndromes (low back, mid back, neck pain, elbow pain, shoulder pain etc.)
Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN)
TDN is an effective therapy to treat muscular tension and spasms which commonly accompanies conditions such as arthritis, nerve irritation, muscular strain and ligament strains. Dry needling promotes recruitment of oxygen rich blood flow to a muscle region to rid of toxins and promote cellular rejuvenation.
THOR Photobiomodulation
Photobiomodulation to humans is best used in comparison to Photosynthesis in plants. Plants rely on rays from the sun to proliferate healthy cell growth. The LED/infared light acts in the same way for cell growth and rejuvenation in muscle structures of the human body.
Game Ready Cold Compression
Cold compression combines two elements of the first aid technique, RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation); active pneumatic compression with cryotherapy (also referred to as cold therapy). Cold compression works by distributing alternating pressure (this removes edema and reduces swelling which can be eliminated by the lymphatic system). Also, the improved circulation with the intermittent pressure promotes and accelerates tissue healing and tissue quality. Additionally, the decrease in temperature reduces pain by constricting blood flow to the injury. This is a great recovery tool for after intense workouts or athletic activity.
