Mishe Mokwa Massage/ Pregnancy
Mishe Mokwa, or mama bear, massage, is devoted to nurturing and offering support to women during a time of profound transformation: the childbearing year. Sessions can be light ‘Swedish style” for relaxation and stress reduction or, deeper work with the following in mind:
low and mid-back areas to alleviate intra-uterine pressure,
the strain on uterine ligaments, compression in lumbar vertebrae and the sacroiliac joints, sciatica, to lengthen the musculature of the back, allow and encourage the spine to “breathe”, open the hips.
