Stephen Cunniff, owner and founder of Imago Beauty Group, is delighted to offer Madison Avenue quality and service at his beautiful and friendly salon in the historic McGinley Square section of Jersey City. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Stephen studied and worked extensively in Manhattan, graduating from Robert Fiance School of Hair Design. He continued his advanced training at David Daines Madison Avenue Collection, where he became Senior Stylist and Advanced Educator. Stephen was trained in advanced haircutting personally by Daines, who came from London as Creative Director for Vidal Sassoon’s New York City salon, and by other educators from the original Sassoon team. He then joined Gil Gamlieli Beauty Group on Madison Avenue as a Senior Stylist. Stephen received additional advanced training in color formulation, application and corrective color from AVEDA, Framesi, ToccoMagico, Joico and Redken, and specializes in all foil highlighting techniques.
