Thank you* An initial consultation is a face to face intake session with Susana Potter which is meant to be an interview style session to determine if both you and Susana are a good fit. It is very important that you feel safe, heard and can relate to the your therapist's style and approach. Additionally, during an intake session you will be invited to discuss what brought you to counseling at this time and what your expectation may be. Lastly, Susana will be conducting a Bio-Pscyho-Social assessment which will give her a clearer picture of all the factors in your history and life which may be contributing to your presenting issue. This is meant to be a starting point in your mental health journey.
