45 Minute Fascial Counterstrain

Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) is a therapeutic, hands-on method, designed to release spasm in all tissues of the body. Every structure in the body can actively spasm and produce pain in a natural, protective response to injury. Once this reflex spasm is triggered it can persist, spread and form hundreds of tender points. FCS works to release the tissue in spasm and the corresponding tender point by gently unloading the injured structure. By positioning the body against the strain or by applying a “counterstrain”, FCS results in a therapeutic release. This is a completely painless treatment that is a viable option for even the most delicate cases not able to tolerate traditional massage therapy.

Massage Cupping

30 minutes of massage cupping therapy. The purpose of cupping is to increase blood flow and decompress tissue by creating a vacuum to pull connective tissues, scar tissue, etc up away from the underlying structures. Unlike acupuncture cupping, or fire cupping, massage cupping involves moving the cups with the vacuum in place to pull and stretch the fascia in multiple directions. This technique aids in breaking down excessive scar tissue and in relieving trigger points and stubborn adhesions. Most importantly, massage cupping should never be painful and many find it extremely relaxing.

Lymphatic Massage

This is a much lighter than usual massage as it’s goal is to specifically effect lymph, not muscle. It is extremely relaxing and includes therapeutic grade essential oils.
