Ombre

Ever the benchmark for fashion and beauty, France is where the word "ombré" (pronounced "om-bray") comes from. Meaning "shaded", it describes a hair colouring technique where a darker base colour is gradually lightened along the lengths, usually starting around mid-way, giving a sunkissed effect. Color melting is when three or more colors are used and overlapped in a way to create a seamless blending of shades that looks like it could’ve naturally occurred, even the colors used to achieve the effect are not natural hair colors.
