Casey Medairy has been playing and coaching baseball for 26 years and seen success at every level of youth baseball. He was part of the 2002 National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) World Series Championship team in Hopkinsville, KY. A few years later he was named the 2005 NABF Batting Champion after going 9-for-13 (.692 BA) at the World Series in Detroit, MI. He was part of the 2006 Maryland Oriolanders Fall Team and the 2010 Takoma Thunderbolts in the Cal Ripken, Sr. League. Casey committed to UMBC his junior year of high school where he played outfield his four years there earning a starting spot as the centerfielder. Medairy played in 99 games at UMBC between 2008-2011. His senior year he led the Retrievers with a 0.386 OBP with 39 hits, 20 runs, and 12 multi-hit games. He is currently the 3A East Regional Director for MD State HS baseball. He began his high school coaching career at Atholton HS in 2012 and is currently the head varsity baseball coach at Hammond HS (since 2013).
