Mold inspection for all levels of a home. Assess for mold contamination using visual inspection, infrared thermal imaging, particle counter and instrument moisture mapping. Collect an air sample on each level of the home and in HVAC. Analysis by an accredited lab. Does NOT include testing inside wall cavities, under sinks/vanities, under bathtubs, ceiling cavities, etc.. Testing of bedding or furniture NOT included.

Tobacco Smoke Scan

SmokeScan is a very sensitive air test to check for odors commonly referred to as "stale cigarette smoke" or "third hand smoke." It is also able to detect "fresh" cigarette smoke commonly referred to as "first" or "second hand" cigarette smoke. People have a very wide difference in their perception of the odor of residual or stale cigarette smoke.

Collect air and/or surfaces samples for analysis by an accredited lab. May include testing of wall cavities and areas near plumbing, under sinks, vanities, tubs, HVAC interior, etc. based on visual and instrument indicators. Doesn't include mold DNA or mycotoxins testing. Price includes up to 15 sample locations. Additional locations can be purchased on the day of the visit for $24 each

Collect air and/or surfaces samples for analysis by an accredited lab. Sampling of wall cavities and areas near plumbing, under sinks, vanities, tubs, HVAC interior, ice maker line, bedding/mattresses, and primary furniture. Includes up to 25 lab samples. Additional samples can be purchased for $24 each.

This service is recommended when mold is discovered in an attic and you will need a remediation protocol for mold mitigation. Includes inspection and documentation of mold issues. Does not include lab testing which is not necessary except for medical reasons. While your technician may give opinions regarding the cause or source of mold, we recommend hiring an attic specialist for any diagnosis of attic moisture/dampness.

AIR QUALITY CHECK - RESIDENTIAL

Includes Mold Testing (we may test any of the following, depending on visual inspection and instrument readings: air, carpeting, bedding/mattress, under kitchen sink, furniture surfaces, furnace ducts, supply vents, A/C coil, under bathroom vanity, under bath tub, wall or ceiling cavities, vacuum cleaner dust, furnace filter). Also includes analysis of household dust for allergens and irritants, gas leak check (fireplaces, stove, water heater/, furnace, clothes dryer), carbon monoxide check, carbon dioxide measurements to establish ventilation rate, formaldehyde measurement, furnace and air conditioning check (this is NOT a mechanical inspection, only air quality related items are checked), heating ducts check, vacuum cleaner leakage test, thermal infrared imaging scan of walls and ceilings, and cursory EMF check if there is an interest). Price is for Madison and maximum of 2,000 sq ft. Outside of Madison or larger than 2,000 sq ft, call for price quote.
