Jewelry Downsize

Select if you need to downsize the length of your jewelry. The jewelry change fee is waived for your first downsize on piercings performed at our studio, so you are only responsible for the cost of the shorter post. For most piercings, we strongly encourage downsizing your jewelry once initial swelling has diminished in order to minimize irritation from extra movement. The time frame for downsizing depends on the piercing and varies from person to person. (Please consult the back of the aftercare brochure you received at the time of your piercing for an estimated time frame)

To-Go Purchase/Jewelry Browsing

This appointment ensures someone will be available to help you and answer any questions you may have. *We CANNOT accept returns on body jewelry. If you're unsure of the size you need, please book a Jewelry Change appointment and we will help insert your new purchase to ensure it fits properly.*

Ashley — she/her

Piercer + Manager — Ashley enjoys the continual opportunities for growth in her role as a professional piercer, and upholding the standards of quality and professionalism that the studio has long offered Tallahassee. Throughout the years she's been piercing, she has sought out further education from the Association of Professional Piercers, the Gemological Institute of America, and the piercing community as a whole. When she isn't piercing, Ashley loves exploring North Florida and beyond with her partner and lil grey cat, going to indie wrestling shows, and eating any taco you put in front of her.

Brooke — she/her

Apprentice Piercer — Brooke is a Tallahassee native. She's been a client at Bink's since age 12 and is so excited to be joining the team as counter staff. After having plenty of receptionist jobs over the years, she's stoked to be working in an industry she's passionate about. Brooke is looking forward to learning more about gems, body jewelry, and the history of body piercing and other body modifications. As a child, she once saw a waitress whose ears were adorned with rings all the way down and has been captivated by piercings ever since. She loves to explore the reasons people feel drawn to body modifications, and is always down to swap 'origin stories' with clients. She is a senior at FSU pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and graduates in Spring 2023. Brooke enjoys rollerskating, screen printing, and zine-making.

Cindy — she/her

Apprentice Piercer — Originally from Miami, Cindy has spent the last few years enjoying her time here in Tallahassee pursuing her psychology degree. Piercings and jewelry were always something she was interested in and during her time in Tally, she got her daith pierced at our shop and loved the experience so much she knew she wanted to work here! She loves talking through jewelry options and making sure clients are as comfortable as can be. On days off from the shop, Cindy can often be spotted with a bowl of soup in one hand and a matcha latte in the other! She enjoys indoor activities like playing video games and drawing whenever she gets the chance as well as spending time with the people she loves.

Hayley — she/her

Hayley (she/her) is a Tallahassee native who first discovered her fascination with piercing through the (in)famous BMEzine website. After getting her first piercing at 16 years old, she pestered her local piercer for two years before being offered an apprenticeship and the chance to begin her piercing career in 2011. Since then, she’s expanded her knowledge by connecting with other piercers and participating in classes and workshops offered by other industry professionals, including APP Conference and Camp APP. In 2018, after working in multiple studios that didn’t align with the quality of service she wanted to provide, Hayley chose to take a hiatus from piercing and finish her bachelor's degree in sociology while working as a beer & wine specialist for Whole Foods. In 2022, Hayley was given the opportunity to become a part of the Bink staff, and we're so thrilled. Hayley likes to spend her free time reading sci-fi novels, cooking & baking, and watching horror movies with her cats.

Jasper Zephyr

A piercer and artist from Florida currently living in Pforzheim, Germany. They first discovered Binks as a client in 2009 and was lucky enough to work as counter help for a little while in 2011 and 2012. In 2014 they completed the Fakir Basic Piercing Intensive course in San Francisco and attended their first APP Conference in Las Vegas that summer. In 2017 they began their apprenticeship at Binks in the same building where they first got pierced! Just as they were starting to offer more piercings without mentor supervision, COVID started and the shop closed for over a year. Jasper moved to Germany in July 2022 to attend a goldsmithing school. They’re nearing the end of school and preparing to start an 18-month apprenticeship to become a state certified journeyman goldsmith, but their love of piercings has never diminished.

Marina — they/them

Piercer — As a teen Marina received second lobe piercings by Bink at his very first studio location, and soon became a shop regular. In 2008, left a career as an elementary school teacher and was offered an apprenticeship with Bink. Their responsibilities quickly grew; soon they were managing the studio. Marina became a Business Member of the Association of Professional Piercers in 2009 and began volunteering heavily with the organization in 2012. In 2014, Marina was ready for another change and moved to the Montana mountains for a summer of hiking and National Parks, then worked for a few years in the corporate world. In 2016, they officially returned to the piercing industry as the Membership Administrator for the Association of Professional Piercers and a traveling piercer. Marina was invited to rejoin the Body Piercing by Bink family in 2019 and couldn't be happier to be back where it all started.

Monica — They/Them

Guest Piercer — Monica wants to help when you need a new piercing or not! Some of Monica's favorite things are spending time with rad humans who want a piercing (or several maybe), jewelry and piercing styling session, chains and dangles, and helping people celebrate themselves! Snag a styling appointment with Monica while they're in town!
