The life force energy helps promote emotional and physical well being. Energy healing is not based on religion, though a belief of a higher power than yourself, is helpful. Reiki is based on love and compassion to help others. Reiki is not a cure, nor is it used as a replacement to traditional medical treatment. Reiki is a companion to traditional medical treatment. Distance Reiki Sessions are typically performed in the evening hours and scheduled directly with Julie. They can be performed at the prearranged time and may or may not consist of video chat or phone.

Animal Reiki is the same Reiki that humans receive Reiki may be administered either hands on the animal or hovering over the animal. Depending on the circumstances or situation it may not always be possible to be near an animal, but Reiki can still be administered. Animal Reiki sessions tend to be shorter than Human Reiki. Animal Reiki sessions can be as short as 15-45 minutes depending on the animal and circumstances. Animals will tend to let us know when they have had enough Reiki. Some animals gravitate towards the Reiki energy and will come closer to the Practitioner. When animals have had enough, they will want to retreat and rest.
