This is an online initial evaluation. Insurance (BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United) or self-pay. We will be providing you with a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Please come to the second appointment (first follow up) in person with Dr. Wang. You may be recommended medication treatment, psychotherapy, or both. No medications will be given by request. All previous diagnoses/medications will be re-evaluated and only prescribed if we feel they are a good fit for you.

This is a service for whose who are not seeking formal psychiatric care, and for other healthcare professionals seeking supervision with Dr. Wang. This is not medical and is not covered by health insurance. It is self-pay only. We welcome residents of any state to utilize this service. Online or in person.

Jia Wang, MD
Dr. Wang received her undergraduate Chemistry Degree with Highest Honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Subsequently, she stayed at the University of Michigan for her Medical Doctorate. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the Baylor College of Medicine.

Shelly Daigle, PA
Shelly was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Shelly earned her Master’s degree in Medical Science/Physician Assistant Studies in 2008 from Our Lady of the Lake (now Franciscan University) in Baton Rouge. She has worked for many years in primary care, in both Louisiana and Texas, before deciding to pursue her passion of Psychiatry. Shelly believes in a patient centered approach and empowering her patients to understand their own illness to learn to manage it.
