New York Style Signature Massage™ - Advanced Clinical-Swedish Massage

OUR MOST POPULAR MASSAGE BY FAR! Created by our founder, Melissa Strautman. This massage affects the Circulatory System, Lymphatic System, and fascia. Melissa won the Gold Medal at the 2023 World Massage Championship in Denmark and the 2022 American Massage Championship with this massage. This customized full-body massage allows you to experience an elevated level of relaxation with a therapeutic focus on your problem area. This massage includes hot-moist packs, hot peppermint foot wraps, and premium oil or lotion. Each therapist brings their unique techniques to this treatment while observing original Classical European Swedish Massage techniques codified by the masters and founders of Clinical-Swedish Massage, dating back to the late 1800s.

NEW Tok Sen (Northern Thailand Myofascial Vibrational Tapping)

“Tok” means to hammer (thunderwood from Thailand), and “Sen” refers to what modern science refers to as the “myofascial lines” or fascial-nerve junctions that exist in our bodies. The practitioner feels the thickened, congested or smooth tissue layers and uses the appropriate tool and tap methods to restore normalcy. Target Area Massage (NOT A FULL BODY)

Target Area (AKA "Deep Tissue") refers to a specific area of tissue that is "stuck" deeper in the body, not the pressure that is used. You get to decide just how heavy the pressure will be. This is NOT a full-body massage. This massage begins with heat (hot packs or hot stones) and an analgesic liniment. The purpose of this treatment is to remove adhesions in soft tissue by using compressive, elongating force. Therapeutic inflammation may occur with noticeable tenderness & reduced performance for up to 48 hours.

MediCupping™

MediCupping™ is 3-5 times more effective than the Traditional Deep Tissue Massage. This is NOT a hands-on treatment. MediCupping™ uses a machine attached to glass or plastic cups (laid on your skin) to create suction and pumping movements. This creates a soothing, consistent, and effective treatment for deeper soft tissue without strain on the client. MediCupping™ can be used as an adjunct therapy to chiropractic manipulations, medical protocols, and surgical recovery. Kinesio Taping®

This covers simple to complex tapings (of one area) to address such issues as pain, tight muscles, weak muscles, scars, varicosities, bruising and swelling. You must either shave 24 hours prior to taping or use clippers to any hair in the area. Please remove any tape 24 hours prior to a new taping to reduce skin irritation.
