Vaccination Titre Test - Dog

This test is to assess your dogs' immune system response to Parvovirus, and hence determines whether or not they need a repeat vaccination for immunity. The price includes:  *Blood sampling fee *Titre Testing at Vetpath Laboratory for Parvovirus *Vaccination certificate - valid for 12 months. The recommended Titre Re-testing frequency will depend upon the test result and for 95% of dogs with the strongest possible result, will be every 3 years. Pets with sub-optimal immunity will need re-vaccinating; or re-testing anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, according to the results.  Dr Lu's re-testing recommendations including options for repeat vaccines, will be emailed, along with the Vetpath Laboratory results.  A vaccination certificate can be re-issued annually or when needed (for some boarding kennels and doggy day care centres) for $25 and can be requested by emailing [email protected] The supplied Vaccination certificate will state that your pet is up to date with a C5 which includes the Kennel Cough vaccine Guidelines for Dr Lu's Vaccine & Titre Testing protocols are in accordance with the WSAVA Vaccination Guidelines which are found here: https://wsava.org/global-guidelines/vaccination-guidelines/ The titre for Distemper virus can be added for an additional fee however this virus has not been detected in Australian dogs for decades.

The price includes:  *Blood sampling fee *Titre Testing at Vetpath Laboratory *Vaccination Certificate emailed - valid for 12 months. The recommended Titre Re-testing frequency will depend upon the test result and for cats with the strongest possible result, will be every 3 years. Pets with sub-optimal immunity will need re-vaccinating; or re-testing anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, according to the results.  Dr Lu's re-testing recommendations including options for repeat vaccines, will be emailed, along with the Vetpath Laboratory results.  A vaccination certificate can be re-issued annually or when needed (requirement for some, but not all catteries) for $25 and can be requested by emailing [email protected] The supplied Vaccination certificate will state that your pet is up to date with a F3 Vaccination. Holistic Consultation - New Patients

For New Patients I will usually need one hour to properly go through your pets medical history, address 1-2 health concerns, discuss diet, reduced chemical parasite protection and my vaccination advice to safely avoid unnecessary boosters. For 2 pets, and pets with multiple health issues, we will often need 90 minutes. This price is for the consultation only Home Visits will also incur a travel surcharge of $75-$110 and are available upon request

Review Consultation - Existing Patients

If I have seen your pet previously, or if we have already had a video / phone consult, then we usually only need 20 or 30 minutes to review the treatment plan. However if there are multiple health concerns or I haven't seen you in 12 months then we may need an hour. This fee is for the consultation only. Home Visits will also incur a travel surcharge of $75-$110 pending travel time and are available upon request

Heartworm Test

Recommended every 6 months for pets whom are not on monthly heartworm prevention drugs. $89 if this is the only test, which includes the blood collection fee OR reduced to $59 when combined with another blood test

Video or Phone Consultation

We can use Facetime or Whatsapp or for a Video Consult - whichever suits you the best. We can also make it a regular phone call if you prefer! I recommend having a second device handy so you can voice-record the session to listen back to later. Dr Lu's advice during this consultation will not be provided in writing except upon request for pet insurance purposes. If you need an appointment within 24 hours, please pick the Emergency Consult option and either 15 or 30 minutes. On Weekends & Public Holidays there is an additional fee: please pick the Public Holiday Consult either 15 or 30 minutes. Any medications, herbs, supplements and other products that are recommended during the call, can be ordered following the call and can be posted or sent via courier Australia-wide.

Vitamin C Intravenous Infusion
