Olivia has been sewing since she was 11 years old, when the pictures of bridal gowns caught her eye. Her mother signed her up for beginner sewing lessons with Erin, where she began to tackle many ambitious projects. Later when sewBoise opened in 2012, Olivia became the shop’s first assistant, making her the longest serving employee.
Over the years, Olivia developed her sewing skills making vintage inspired dresses, and practicing alteration techniques by upgrading thrift store finds. At the shop, she became more involved in more challenging tasks, teaching sewing lessons and assisting in custom sewing. Eventually, Olivia’s interest in sewing made a full circle when she became the shop’s summer bridal specialist in 2018. She loves meeting each bride and feels honored to contribute to their special day by making their dress fit perfectly.
