Comprehensive Eye Exam (under 20 / over 65 years old)
As you may be aware OHIP benefits currently include yearly eye exams for patients 0-19 and for patients 65 and older.
The Ontario Association of Optometrists currently recommends the first eye exam to be at 6 months of age and then again at 3 years. It is best to have a yearly exam for those 5 years of age and older to make sure no visual deficits are holding back the child from success in school
