Cupping is a TCM healing modality that utilizes suction cups on various parts of the body, usually the back, in order to promote blood flow. People with pain, fatigue, anxiety, muscle skeletal tightness, excess heat or cold feeling, cramps, can all benefit from this modality.
The cups will leave a red or purple mark on the skin for up to a week. Sometimes water blisters may appear as well depending on the patients constitution.
Gua Sha: Scrapping
Gua Sha is a healing modality that is used to promote blood flow. This modality treats muscle skeletal pain, cramps, feelings of hot or cold, anxiety, insomnia, releases tension.
A general patient intake is done. Acupuncture is administered as well as a complementary modality to enhance healing.
