In the midst of all of that is going on, we have decided to reopen business for services as NYC has allowed during Phase II. The normalcy that was before we closed our doors for the statewide shelter in place mandate will look different as we transition into our new normal. One of our top priorities is to make this transition in creating new norms in the salon culture as smooth as possible. It is also our priority to keep us all safe and healthy as we resume our service offerings at Locks of Nu Natural Hair Spa. We cannot do this without your help.
In moving forward, we have updated our policies and procedures to provide a clean and secure environment that seeks to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and any other contagions.
The terms of this update are as follows:
*Please arrive during your scheduled appointment time only. The waiting area will not be utilized.
*No add-on services will be made if there is not sufficient time scheduled between you and the following appointment.
*You must wear a thick face mask during the entire session.
*Please remain at least 6 feet apart from others when possible.
*You must use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands with soap and hot water for no less than 20 seconds before being seated.
*Please minimize the items that you bring to a small purse or personal bag.
*If wearing gloves, they must be switched out after every surface touched and with handwashing upon being seated.
*We ask that you pay for your services via one of our electronic methods to avoid cash exchange.
*A temperature reading may be taken by a non-touch thermometer before receiving services
*You will also receive a client screening form for your review. If any of the conditions mentioned in the screening form apply to you, please stay home.
During your session, we will adhere to the following procedures:
*Open-air styling in our backyard will be offered
*Staff will be wearing face coverings during services
*Capes will be thoroughly sanitized with a cleaning solution and set to dry before placement on the next client or disposable capes will be used.
*Doorknobs, light switches, bathrooms, and the front door will be disinfected after every client’s passing.
*Tools, product containers, stations, chairs, and dryers will be disinfected after every client.
*We will wash our hands with soap and hot water for no less than 20 seconds between each client.
If you have any of the following symptoms please reschedule your appointment for at least 14 days from today.
Do you have:
*Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
*Repeated shaking with chills
*New loss of taste or smell
*Have you been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
I am aware that I am entering this public establishment at my own risk. I am also aware that my hairstylist and staff at Locks of Nu Natural Hair Spa LLC is not liable for any possible exposure that I may have with any surface or individual(s) that may be contagious with COVID-19 coronavirus or any other infection or disease. I fully comply with and understand that I am responsible for supplying my own personal protective equipment such as face masks and gloves. I will adhere to the health and safety procedures as suggested by the CDC, and my local health department. By choosing to move forward with my service, I am confirming that I have read and agree to comply with the updated policies and procedures.
