Pertaining to COVID-19 Dear Valued Clients, For our session, I ask that you: Please bring in only what you need for the session, such as a small personal item, and leave your water bottle in the car. Bring a double-layered or better face covering or mask to wear, as we BOTH need to wear one covering our noses and mouths during the entire session, from the time you arrive to the time you leave. Please, no N95 masks with valves or openings, as they do not protect me. Fear not - you will not suffocate while face-down. I'm utilizing a modification that will still keep your nose and mouth covered. Visit the restroom upon arrival to thoroughly wash your hands. Please avoid touching your face/mask once your hands have been washed. Complete a symptom questionnaire at the beginning of each appointment. If you have had any of the following symptoms within the last 72 hours prior to your appointment, please stay home and contact your primary care provider. We can reschedule your appointment for a later date. Cough or other respiratory symptoms Fever of 100° or above Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Chills New muscle aches or pain since the emergence of the virus Sore throat Flu symptoms: runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, fatigue (tiredness), vomiting and/or diarrhea New loss of taste or smell New marks, spots, bumps, rashes or lesions Trouble breathing (more significant than difficulty breathing) Persistent pain or pressure in the chest New confusion Inability to wake or stay awake Bluish lips or face Inability to exercise to get your heart rate and respiratory rate up without a problem If you have been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms, I ask that you reschedule your appointment. While every safer behavior reduces our risk of infection (mask-wearing, hand-washing, social distancing), it's the layering of these behaviors that can reduce our risk up to 95%. If you spend unmasked time indoors with others outside your social pod, I strongly encourage you to delay your massage appointment for 14 days after the unmasked gathering. Please contact me sooner than later to reschedule your massage if this applies to you. I'm grateful for your consideration of my other clients and me. I am utilizing an air filtration system with dual H13 HEPA filters, which removes 99.9% of air particles down to 0.1 microns. As usual, I am cleaning and disinfecting the studio and restroom between clients, and all linens are freshly laundered. I look so forward to seeing you and supporting you with massage therapy. Thank you, and stay safe!
